4. Shopify

Our online shop is operated via the e-commerce platform Shopify. Shopify provides us, among other things, with the technical infrastructure of the online shop, the checkout, and functions for order, customer, and payment processing.

For customers in Switzerland, personal data may be processed by Shopify International Limited, Ireland, as well as other companies and service providers affiliated with Shopify.

Shopify stores certain merchant and customer data in Europe. However, for the provision of its services, data may also be processed internationally and transferred to other locations, in particular Canada and the United States.

Shopify employs appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, to the extent required under applicable data protection law.

5. Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled in our shop.

This allows Shopify to process certain data about the use of our shop together with other Shopify data in order to provide enhanced Shopify services. This may include, in particular, functions for analytics, personalisation, improving Shopify services, and targeting advertising.

Where consent is required for this under applicable law, the corresponding data processing only takes place after you have given your consent. Consent given can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the shop's privacy or cookie settings.

Further information on how Shopify uses your personal data and how you can exercise your data protection rights can be found in the Shopify Privacy Portal.

6. Payment processing

For the processing of payments, the necessary data is transmitted to the payment service provider selected at checkout.

This may include, in particular, name, billing address, order information, payment amount, and the payment data necessary to carry out the respective payment method.

When using Shopify Payments, payment data is processed as part of payment processing by Shopify and the payment service providers engaged by Shopify. This data may also be used for fraud prevention, security, and compliance with legal requirements.

7. Shipping

Where necessary for the delivery of your order, we pass on the required data to the shipping or logistics company commissioned with delivery.

This may include, in particular, your name, delivery address, and, where necessary for delivery, your contact details.

Personal data may therefore also be processed in countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area.

Where an adequate level of data protection is not recognised for the country concerned, appropriate safeguards are used where necessary, such as recognised standard contractual clauses or other guarantees permitted under applicable data protection law.

12. Retention period

As a general rule, we only store personal data for as long as necessary for the respective processing purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.

Order, contract, and accounting data may be stored for a longer period due to statutory retention obligations.

Personal data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised, provided there is no legal or otherwise permissible basis for further storage.

Under applicable data protection law, you have, in particular, the right to request information as to whether and which personal data we process about you.

Depending on the applicable law, you may in particular request the correction or deletion of your personal data, and object to certain data processing.

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

You can exercise your rights by contacting us: atelierlescameur@gmail.com

To the extent Shopify processes personal data under its own responsibility, corresponding rights can also be exercised via the Shopify Privacy Portal.

14. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, or unauthorised alteration.

Our technical service providers also take security measures to protect the data they process.
